Degrees: BA in Economics (University of Western Ontario, Ontario Canada), LLB (Hons.) with Spanish (University of Buckingham, England)

Areas of Practice: Civil and Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Insolvency Law, and Negligence and Personal Injury Law.

Professional Experience: Adrian joined the firm of Harry B. Sands, Lobosky & Company as an Associate in April 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Adrian gained experience as a litigator, primarily in the Insolvency Law, and Civil and Commercial Litigation practice areas. Since joining the firm, his practice has expanded to include Employment Law, and Negligence and Personal Injury Law.

Civil and Commercial Law: Adrian’s practice covers all aspects of civil and commercial litigation with a focus on disputes concerning Trusts, Property, and Banking. He has assisted as a junior in numerous matters at the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal levels.

Employment Law: Adrian has amassed considerable experience in a wide range of issues relating to employment law from appearances before both the Bahamas Industrial Tribunal and the Bahamas Supreme Court.

Negligence and Personal Injury Law: Adrian’s experience has come from defending a wide variety of personal injury claims on behalf of leading insurance companies, and major employers within the Bahamas.

Insolvency Law: As a junior, Adrian has assisted in representing both liquidators and creditors in various matters including presentation of winding-up petitions, applications for recognition of foreign insolvency office holders, and tracing and identifying assets. Adrian most recently assisted in a highly contentious dispute on behalf of a group of creditors in successfully overturning a Liquidator’s rejection of their claim of US $330 million.
