Professional Experience:

Viola joined the firm of Harry B. Sands, Lobosky & Co. in January 2018 after six years as a prosecutor in the Department of Public Prosecutions at the Office of the Attorney-General where she honed her advocacy skills with the successful conduct of trials and appeals involving serious criminal offences. 

As an Associate at HBSL, Viola developed her practice in civil litigation and has engaged in wide range of matters with a particular focus on contractual disputes, labour matters, and personal injury and fatal accident claims. In January 2021 Viola became a partner in the Firm.

As a part of her labour practice, Viola has acted for a number of large local employers, including international financial institutions and hotels with a local presence. Viola has also acted for local and international insurers in disputes concerning personal injury and fatal accident claims, as well as claims arising from structural damage sustained during major hurricanes. 

Viola is also involved in large-scale, multi-party, trust litigation involving complex disputes concerning the administration of a high-value trust.
